And I'm bad at spelling! :p Anyways, the person who hosts about 80% of the Brawl tournaments in Texas banned the Ice Climber's chain grabs to an extent. The rule is, you're not allowed to grab from a throw more than 3 times in a row, this does not include Nana's spike to a grab, or a foot stool to a grab, or (I think) a release grab to another grab. So I can use this to my advantage to chain grab long enough to get in a kill.

Jun 23, 2008 - Why use chain grabs? Because they're useful. Also, people RARELY, if ever, bother coming up with their own combos. Well known players might be known for things they didn't even come up with because it's a general strategy that works.

Jul 1, 2008 - I'm confused about all the flaming going on on this video o.o I personally don't care that the chain grabs are limited to 3 where I live, since I've gotten better now that I don't have to rely on them. Though the orriginality comment is void, because saying that means you are also telling marth users to stop using their forward smash/forward air, telling G&W users to stop using the turtle, telling peach users to stop gliding, etc. In the end though, I don't mind the new rule :p

Jul 2, 2008 - look i agree but, alot of characters have stupid infinates, rob dtilt on a wall infinates metas dtilt bowsers chaingrab marths chaingrab and the list goes on and on plus its not like its easy to get a grab with the climbers. at least in melee it was fun and infinates were hard to do.

Jul 12, 2008 - Ice Climbers, Dedede (On a wall), Marth (On Ness/Lucas), and Zamus (Plasma locking has infinite grabs. :D Plasma locking is only infinitr when the player doesn't know how to escape it... and the ICs actually have 3 infinites, their chaingrabs, hobbling, and iceblock lock on a wall. :)

Jul 13, 2008 - bowser is sometimes cheap he can get you in a corner and get a easy infinate but if you aren't someone fast like sonic, it's a easy infinate.
