As viewed from Gallows Hill. My first 720HD time lapse with the Ricoh GX100 camera - a shot every 5 seconds, infinity focus mode, aperture priority, daylight white balance. The built-in intervalometer was the main reason I bought this camera. Total shooting time: 1h 24m I'm really happy with the consistent exposures the Ricoh produces which lead to minimal flickering. My Canon Pro1's exposure system is far less stable over hundreds of shots meaning the sequences have to be deflickered. Mini highlights: the CalMac ferry arriving on the right, a very speedy fishing boat (which had loads of seagulls trailing it) and lastly a little yacht coming into port. Music: The Haggis by Capercaillie from their Crosswinds album. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Watch this larger in 720HD on my Vimeo page: http://www.vimeo.com/1025339 .

Jul 14, 2008 - No thank you. I'm originally from Point. I like seeing the ferry come in and the little cars drive off. It's like the world keeps moving leaving Lewis to do it's own thing. How long did you film?
