Keith Green is interviewed after a night when 150 young people "gave their lives to the Lord." The interviewer asks what kind of appeal he made. Keith goes on to explain the lack in modern preaching of the lordship of Christ, and of taking up our crosses daily to follow him. Keith didn't preach an easy believism Gospel. He understood the difference between true and false converts, and this clearly comes out in this interview. Keith also seen the obvious lack of street evangelism within the church, and saw how easy it was to play the part of a Christian, but never do those things which Christ commanded us. Aug 5, 2008 - I didn't know Keith made it to Canada. The interviewer is David Maines from Hundred Huntley Street. This reminds me of the lost interview with Bruce Lee from Pierre Burton, another Canadian interviewer. A light that burns twice as bright burns half as long, someone told me. Note Keith preached God's Lordship over prosperity and savior-ship (as in what God does for you). This hits the conscience. God is not our genie or spiritual pacifier or emotional fix.
