PlanetoftheAtheists Says:

May 18, 2008 - Moral truth? Since when do christians possess the truth on anything? the whole doctrine is a lie, and the only way to defend your views is to distort the truth and detach yourselves from reason...get Hitchens here and watch him shred you

penseurlibre Says:

May 18, 2008 - i cant believe how self righteous both speakers are. they are so right about their beliefs and the nervous giggles they make mask a deep insecurity which they are seeking to assuage by mutually propping each othe's arguments up here. understand this - not everyone needs to follow any innate or culturally acquired religious predisposition. keep your fantasy to yourself and be happy.

May 19, 2008 - Its funny that this guy says something along the lines of "It doesnt matter if i am a crazy, or a nazi, the points I make are either right or wrong" and THEN goes on to talk about the anger in hitchens and his body language. Doesnt this dishonest christian not see he is being hypocritical and is doing the same thing that he is accusing hitchens of? Deal with the points, not the point maker.

Jacena Says:

May 19, 2008 - Hitchens would tear you apart. Sorry, he might be rude, but I'd be aggravated by such ignorance as well just to cut ya off :D

thruthem Says:

May 20, 2008 - Silly boys. Stroking each others' egos.

fortuune345 Says:

May 22, 2008 - Christians arguing over circular logic is quite laughable. I am disturbed that these men label atheism as a world view, when in fact it is not. A term for negation does not represent a world view. This is the reason why there is no church for atheism, because atheists have all different types of ideological views. For instance, there are the objectionists of ayn rand, whose beliefs seem quite different than the beliefs of many humanists even though both have similar metaphysical worldvviews.

krdwa Says:

May 24, 2008 - I'd like to see the actual debate. It's amazing how these two commentators spend most of their discussion criticising Hitchens's ability to present a rational argument, whilst demonstrating a complete inability to do so themselves. I think their excessive focus on defending their own rationality, and attacking Hitchens's, actually shows that they recognise theistic arguments aren't rational. I don't understand why theists go to so much trouble to pretend they are.

sukicmon Says:

Jun 10, 2008 - not convinced, keep trying theists...or not. It would be nice to see a scout selling cookies on my doorstep rather than some pathetic "convert" prosteltizing to people that would rather not be bothered with god's salesmen.
