'Dillagi', the great romantic film of the time, was released on 15-02-1974. Nadeem, Shabnam and Lehri were the main characters. A brief background: Nadeem (Raja) was a motor mechanic working under Lehri (Mr. Beju), who was very fond of classical music. Raja used to spend a large amount of his pay on the very first day of the month with big show-off pretending to be a millionaire. One night, he meets Shabnam (Najma) during rain and offers her a lift which she accepted at last. He tried to exaggerate himself to be a Big Businessman, which she believes, but she also pretends herself as a poor girl earning money by tuition. Later on, one time Raja sees Najma on his way to home after garage with his Master Beju. He tries to hide himself on the fear that she would certainly recognize him. Afterwards, he tries to put impression on her to make some room in her heart, and thus, there happens some comic-cum-romantic situation.
