Jul 23, 2008 - wow, excellent comparison between Rome's view of mary and the WT view of the organization! I've honestly never given thought to this, so thanks for pointing this out! Lord willing, JW's will turn from the organization and turn to Jesus as the way, the truth and the life!

Jul 23, 2008 - GREAT VID and 100% true. BTW Jesus is at the Watchtower in NY! Yeah, Jesus Sanchez. Hes the janitor. LOL Man those people are in for a rude awakening some day. But ya know, I guess its better to try than to do nothing like most. Meaning its better to be JW than nothing. They are not all wrong. JC is KING! thanks

Jul 23, 2008 - Here's what you and so many others fail to understand about JW's. When JW's talk about "the truth", they refer not only to an affiliation with the organization known as JW's, but to the body of teachings which distinguish them as unique among so-called Christians today. No trinity, no hell-fire, no heaven for the masses, restoration of a paradise earth,.. As Adam and Eve enjoyed, and as the whole human race would have enjoyed, had Adam and Eve not sinned and lost perfection.
RockTheHouse33133 Says:
Jul 23, 2008 - A preaching work, which all Christians are obligated to take up, and which places emphasis, not on human salvation, but on the vindication of God's sovereignty, his right to rule over the universe, to decide what is best for humans, and the sanctification of his name, "Jehovah"... "Hallowed be thy name". An administration of human salvation and restoration of the earth through God's Kingdom, .. a "government" in the hands of Jesus Christ and 144,000 co-rulers.
RockTheHouse33133 Says:
Jul 23, 2008 - I learned these things by studying with them. Many of their teachings, in my opinion, are vastly superior to the corrupted teachings of the so-called "Christians" among us. Oh, did I mention no hell? ... That's my favorite Bible truth. So, it's no wonder they use these buzz words, "the truth", "the organization" .. etc.

Jul 23, 2008 - The stated mission of Jesus Christ was to seek and to save the lost. (Luke 19:10) That is a salvation message.

Jul 23, 2008 - This video is very good i was thinking about this last week they seem to seek their church and "organization" more than christ In my opinion I know they mean well and they are nice people but they are going about it wrong.

Jul 24, 2008 - Great job again Crosscheck! I like how you always support your claims by the accurate use of scripture. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your next vid!

Jul 24, 2008 - Not a very big deal but they teach Jesus died on a "torture stake, not the traditional Biblical cross + . This is just flat out wrong. They said when Jesus came to inspect them He approved of what they were doing. Guess what. They were teaching all the things they deny today! They celebrated holidays, taught Jesus died on a cross, etc.. It's one thing to not believe in the Trinity. It's another to not teach it. But it's a completely different thing to twist the words of Early writers for support

Jul 24, 2008 - Very insightful, as usual. BUT... I'm wondering if JWs are unique compared to the other organized religions. I have a Catholic friend who thinks the "original church" is the only true church, so that organization is his "mediator" in that sense as well. In practice, though, unfortunately, the WTS has become the de-facto mediator for many JWs. Their relationship with God is through the organization and not apart from it, which is clearly idolatry.
Meadowgirl040807 Says:
Jul 24, 2008 - The answer to your question is yes they have. They beleive their is no salvation outside the organization. They are the source of gods light they are the sole organization that can interpret the scriptures. This is an amazing point and video as usual.
RockTheHouse33133 Says:
Jul 24, 2008 - BibleBill, I agree with many of their main teachings, not celebrating Christmas, Easter,.. Birthdays I'm not sure about. I also agree, the implement of Jesus' death was an upright stake, not a cross. And I definitely agree that the trinity and hell-fire doctrines are pagan teachings. Unfortunately, I'm in a kind of no-man's land as far as religion goes, I agree with the principle teachings of JW's, but I can't afford to live the life-style of a JW's. And I guess, I generally just don't want to.

Jul 24, 2008 - Superb video making an excellent point crosscheck. I think a number of JWs, if they are straight with themselves, would have to agree.

Jul 25, 2008 - Greetings Rock! Many now ex-Jehovah Witnesses had the hardest time with the Trinity and exactly who Jesus is, that is until they became "Born-Again"(John 3:3)Now, it's so clear and they love that teaching. They realize that they had a veil over their face as a follower of the Watchtower. Jesus said "COME TO ME". That's my desire for you Rock. I mean that in the nicest more sincere manner. No one comes to the Son unless the Father draws him. Do you WANT to be drawn by the Father or the WT?

Jul 25, 2008 - Hi Very well written and researched. It is true that the Watchtower has become so puffed up they think they have the gift of grace.
spitandsawdust Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - 'puffed up' is what tends to happen when we rely on our own wisdom and works rather than trusting in the finished work of God

Jul 26, 2008 - wow, thanks for this extremely interesting video
jeremiastudios Says:
Jul 27, 2008 - So it seems, that you are totally wrong. U know what "to know" means? You don't know the truth about Witnesses.
Meadowgirl040807 Says:
Jul 27, 2008 - LOL thats funny you think I would have gotten to know them really well in the 11 years I spent serving them as a pioneer....Wow I guess they will let anyone pioneer huh.. Get it straight before you go on the attack
jeremiastudios Says:
Jul 27, 2008 - Attack? Sorry, but I did not want to offend you. Unfortunately you have chosen the wrong way. Well but then it seems there is no sense for more words... you know what it is about...

Aug 2, 2008 - Wow Crosscheck excellant points and video! We had spoken about this last time, and I agree, as an honest Jehovahs Witness it is true that we believe that the Organization holds these Christ like attributes. Ive read and been told so many times that we can only have salvation is Gods one True Religion, in "Jehovahs Organization".
Newagegamer3018 Says:
Aug 4, 2008 - I would also like to say to any of my "Brothers" & "Sisters" who read my comment, If you think that I am in correct in saying what I said thats fine. But I said the truth, and if you disagree then you are the one lying. Do not be ashamed of your True religious beliefs. May Jehovah God keep you in his love.
21crosscheck21 Says:
Aug 5, 2008 - Hey Newage, one of the things that I have always liked about you is your honesty and your willingness to speak your mind without fear. I guess thats two things, but I believe that they are both true.
BibleBill1 Says:
Aug 6, 2008 - I echo Crosschecks sentiments, although it would be good for him to consider a math refresher course. You do speak your mind without fear. More people should follow that example. Well done!

Jul 23, 2008 - Hi 21crosscheck21, I always enjoy your videos and this one in particular is very good. I have pondered over the issue of the "organisation" taking certain roles of Jesus and never thought it was right or scriptural. Keep up the good work. B
