A game I wanted to play for a while but couldn't since it was unable to load properly. Now thanks to codeman38, there is a GameGenie code that makes it work and to bypass the copy protection. With the game working, it's time to review it. Starting off with the character select screen, there appears to be two cameo appearances of Shin-chan and Doraemon for some reason. In the gameplay, you play as a green Bubble Dragon called Bub and... well, you'd know how the original Bubble Bobble games work :P Onto the first boss, let's just say that I cannot damage it even when Bub collects an item giving him electric-element bubbles to harm it. Furthermore, this seems like the creation of the same people that did Lion King II, Squirrel King and a few others judging by the sounds (and music as well).

May 25, 2008 - Hm, guess they weren't tone-deaf after all. I found a .vgm rip, and apparently hidden somewhere in the ROM was an accurate version of the original arcade game's theme. How weird!

Jun 27, 2008 - The game looks fairly decent for a fanmade game, as for how to hit the boss, if you're any familiar with the Bubble and Bobble games, those electric bubbles along with other powers possible obtaining need to be popped before setting it's power. Pop an electric and a thunder will strike out opposite direction from what you're facing whilst popping the bubble. So face the wall, shoot bubbles and pop them so they'll shoot backwards to the boss.
