May 14, 2008 - I tried to respond to this yesterday. Gotta love the reliability of You Tube comments! That's the pronunciation I had in mind, but I've never been sure. How did I come up with my nick? I chose it when I was about 16, and was calling BBSs. I don't remember exactly, but it probably had something to do with D&D and the fact that I was pretty good at flame wars. If you don't know what one or more of those things are, feel free to ask. :)

May 14, 2008 - Well, BBS stands for bulletin board system, which is what it was called when you phoned another computer to leave messages, chat in a chat room, play games, or whatever. Now, everyone does it on the internet. D&D is Dungeons & Dragons, which is a fantasy role-playing game that you may have heard of. And a flame war is a rather rude disagreement where all kinds of colorful words can be used. The term was probably invented on BBSes, but it became a pretty big internet thing as well.

The audio is not all that great on the clip that you played, in fact, I only recognized the song because I recognized the guitar and because I had already figured out how to pronounce your name from reading it (how novel!). Either way, I liked the story.

I liked the rockin' guitar first part of Layla but always wondered why they grafted a piano ballad to the end. KennyWrites is because KennyCrane was taken and I write about YouTube. KennyCrane is taken from WIlliam Shatner's character, Denny Crane, on ABC's "Boston Legal." No one knows my real name, but it's rumored to be Bill. :)
