Jun 3, 2008 - well if you dont have or use a router and dont want to buy the lan link cable for the wii than theres no way i see for you to play online. most people have a router if they use a laptop, it would be just as easy to set up a connection online.

leesz Says:

Jun 3, 2008 - no, the internet channel is free like most things from nintendo :) lol way to make me look like a liar, no you dont get any free points when you connect to internet with the wii. you can buy 2,000 points for 20 dollars, some of the games are very fun but dont just buy the old stuff they have started original content for download.

leesz Says:

Jun 3, 2008 - you mean d-link router? i have a d-link router and its the one i showed for wireless connection but any router and modem should work.

leesz Says:

Jun 3, 2008 - routers vary in price, you may get them free for signing up for a certain internet provider. just do some research in your area.

leesz Says:

Jun 3, 2008 - yes, you can send messages back and forth to friends and even attach pictures you have on your wii message board. you can create message board pictures from pictures you have on your sd card and you can do all that by going to the photo channel.

leesz Says:

Jun 3, 2008 - yeah i doubt it will reach, its not a very long cord. you can buy the one without the ethernet cable to get a deal and then buy an extra long ethernet cable. go to gamestop (dot) com and they should have both options, ethernet cable and no ethernet cable.

leesz Says:

Jun 11, 2008 - thats really weird, havent heard of that happening. there was a very small problem with some wiis not being able to take any discs.

callumiler Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - So with the lan adapter you receive a faster connection then a wireless router?

lapd222 Says:
