Jul 15, 2008 - Uh, hate to say it, but the brighter light is effecting the exposure of your camera. When you use the dimmer light, the camera's exposure adjusts allowing the light from inside the house to shine out through the bush...

Jul 15, 2008 - I was thinking about that... but something that puzzles me is my camera doesn't auto-adjust that quickly. It needs a second or two to adjust and nominalize the light (for lack of a better term). In the vids its instantaneous with the light switch-over.

Jul 15, 2008 - The camera is starting to adjust when you turn the brighter light off, and by the time you turn on the 2nd one it has more or less adjusted. In the video you are pretty much turning them off and on with the same delay. Had you left them off for a bit, you may have sen a difference. Or turn the light off in that window. :)

Jul 15, 2008 - It does appear to be a reflection, the last part of the video shows that. I think it's just due to the brighter light washing out the reflection because it's reflecting more light off the leaves, so the camera, and your eye, may not be able to see the reflection, even though it would still be there.
