Apr 6, 2008 - hey, interesting video, and for as cynical about korea as I am, i think seoul could actually have been portrayed a bit better if you had waited for the summer or fall (the absolute best time in Korea) and captured the waterfalls and such things (like by Lotte Hotel) and used the Korean wave music or other techno by koreans, they're not bad and can have the same effect as the music you played.

Apr 9, 2008 - ok for one, i've been here for two years,so i must enjoy korea somewhat. I wasn't trying to focus on the cynical part, and maybe you should reread what i wrote. I was trying to constructively critize what has been done, so the producer, if bleak wasn't his aim, might get some ideas of how better to portray his ideas (if it's to show off Seoul). I think Seoul has a bit more life than bare trees and gray sky, although it most certainly looks like the video most of the time in the winter.

Apr 9, 2008 - I understand where you're coming from...if you've lived in Korea for that long then you learn to love its culture and lifestyle maybe just as good or better than your native country...being cynical is just par for the course if you've immersed yourself in a culture different than you've been used to most of your life

Apr 10, 2008 - the footbridge with the glass disc is different in the winter because there's no water running over it... I walk past that thing every weekend - it's pretty neat... maybe a little less gaudy in the winter because it's quiet... the water makes a bit of a big pretense
