Hello, Scientology. As you know by now, we are Anonymous. These past few months have been fascinating and we wish to pause for a moment to take stock of all that has occurred since we first directly communicated with you. Anonymous decided that your organization should be dismantled in its present form. We have achieved many victories in this battle. But the war continues and we know that it is far from over. There have been casualties on both sides. This was to be expected. But the marks you have made against us have only made us stronger. Your campaigns of misinformation, attempted suppression of dissent; baseless attempts at litigation and intimidation on a personal level, as well as the deaths that you have caused, all of which initially gained our attention, are now well known to many millions more people than they were before our campaign began. We can in truth say that our numbers have grown and also that Anonymous has evolved. Anonymous is now a potent media entity and a mighty activist power that can marshal its forces to great effect across the whole of the planet. Anonymous has adapted to the challenges you presented whilst you have resorted to the same odious tactics that drew our attention in the first place. By your own actions you have increased our strength. Information that Anonymous has verified to be accurate has confirmed that your recruitment levels are down and many people, including once senior members, have left the Church of Scientology. You are spending large amounts of money fighting us, to no effect. The public is increasingly aware of your crimes and tactics. Governments around the world are now re-evaluating your tax status in their territories as a result of our lobbying. Even one of your once-prized celebrity supporters is now supporting our cause and speaking out against the Church of Scientology. You see the Internet as a battleground but our mastery of it is complete. While you waste your resources on inconsequential attempts to increase your profile and do damage to us we have rendered these attempts ineffective. Anonymous decided to dismantle the Church of Scientology in its present form, one reason for this was for the good of your followers. But here and now Anonymous speaks directly to the followers of Scientology. We know many of you have your own doubts about the actions of the Church's leadership, about the changes made to the material, about whether the abuses you have suffered, and seen your friends suffer, are justified. Perhaps you are the ones best positioned to make the changes needed to dismantle the Church of Scientology and turn it into something that does not weigh upon your consciences. Anonymous is the voice of the body politic. The voice of the people. Perhaps many within Scientology are Anonymous but simply do not know it yet. Knowledge is free. There is nothing that the Church of Scientology can teach you that is not freely available outside its control, should you retain faith in the tech and wish to continue in your beliefs. Anonymous knows where the secrets can be found and is willing to show them to you. Anonymous now calls on all Scientologists to come up to the present time and put their house in order. Know that the price of your salvation is not the fees you pay for courses, or the slave labour you put in as staff, but the choices that you make. If Scientologists wish to pull down their organisation so that it can be rebuilt in a more moral form that respects its members, Anonymous will cease any action against these individuals and offer them our assistance. We are a powerful, ever growing force but as several of our members have found out when you have attacked them, our resources, resolve and spirit can be supportive as well as destructive. Anonymous knows no mercy for the guilty, but actively seeks justice for the people that have been harmed and understands full well that this includes many who are still within the Church of Scientology. Our campaign will continue. Because it is increasingly obvious that it is necessary. Because it is fun and because messing with the Church of Scientology is fine sport. Because we will triumph. Because the nature of Anonymous is irrepressible. We are Anonymous. We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us.

oschaper Says:

May 19, 2008 - Nobody forces you to join and nobody is keeping in Scientology but yourself.

oschaper Says:

May 19, 2008 - Well, that is to bad because the Internet gives you a nice opportunity to do your personal research before you join. Many people that join do it because they want to see what Scientology can do for them and help them with their life. If you decide to exit the church, no door will stop you.

oschaper Says:

May 19, 2008 - Does not Christianity also exhibit the traits of a cult? Indeed, IS just as much a cult as Scientology? Does Christianity not exploit the susceptibility and fear inherent in the faith to separate parishioners from their money to support "the church"? Does not Christianity also manipulate and magistrate the beliefs of their followers? Why do we not bring as much criticism against Christianity for the same "crimes"?

RA1140 Says:

May 19, 2008 - ya you're running into a trap. They've collected you all up, bringing out a new law and then you'll all be gassed and arrested.

oschaper Says:

May 19, 2008 - Every person has the right to protest (even if I don't like their claims) but there is no reason to gas or arrest them at all.

BobAndGeorge Says:

May 19, 2008 - It would be nice if that were true. But you and I both know it's not. Auditing sessions are there to find out your deepest secrets. "What are your crimes?" Remember? Sure, you can obviously say that you'll never release their info, but it certainly has been done in the past. And the door of disconnection is certainly a big one. Disconnection is a confirmed tactic (put right there on the website) that the cult uses to keep its members. It's a hard choice between your family and freedom.

BobAndGeorge Says:

May 19, 2008 - Does Christianity condone or encourage the harassment of its followers? No. Does Christianity demand increasingly large sums of money for enlightenment? No. If you can't afford to tithe, the Lord is forgiving. Does Christianity EVER try to destroy families? No. A person in the religion might try, but that is far from the teachings of Christ. Does Christianity ever keep secret teaching of Christ from His followers? No. A simple "no" cannot be said for Scientology about any of these questions.

Masterchief2219 Says:

May 19, 2008 - That is true, there is plenty of information on Scientology available on the internet, no thanks to the CoS. As you undoubtedly know, outsiders are not allowed to know the true beliefs of Scientology, just as you are not allowed to know the secrets of the OT levels you have yet to reach. One can not simply walk into the church of Scientology and ask them what they believe. They have to pay a lot of money, and invest a lot of time before they have any idea what it is really about.

Masterchief2219 Says:

May 19, 2008 - The threat of being declared an SP and losing many of your friends and family due to the disconnection policy is a far greater obstacle for potential defectors than any doors the church might have.

Masterchief2219 Says:

May 19, 2008 - Christianity is not guilty of all of the crimes that Scientology commits. Christianity does not force it's members to sever ties with people who don't approve of it's teachings. It doesn't lie about it's beliefs to gain followers. It does not stalk and harass it's critics and former members. It does not attempt to frame it's critics, or sue them into silence. And it definitely does not charge hundreds of thousands of dollars for you to learn what it is really about.

Asuomynoa Says:

May 19, 2008 - Don't you love it when scilons call us religious bigots and then in the next breath bitch about christianity? Why are they so worked up, anyway? It's just R6. Don't blame the christians. Blame Xenu.

kdb955 Says:

May 19, 2008 - If you honestly don't see a difference then you really must not know much about them both. Not your fault, scientology isin't real open about the ugly stuff.

taznc25 Says:

May 20, 2008 - Scientologists- Please explain why L Ron Hubbard made racist comments. Please explain why L Ron Hubbard was bathed daily by underage girls. Please explain why you stand behind a man that was a convicted thief. Thank you.

jomman17 Says:

May 24, 2008 - good job!

anonymousblackdude Says:

May 25, 2008 - "Perhaps many within Scientology are Anonymous but simply do not know it yet." But they Will.

JoeandOlly Says:

Jun 23, 2008 - "I cannot prove you wrong because you are not wrong... hell, I can't even SPELL or compose a simple sentence right..." --There, Fixed.

oschaper Says:

Jun 24, 2008 - The problem with Anon will be over soon because the phenomenon has not the shelf time as some of their members think. Just look at the pure number of protesters which are down big time.

AnonFTLD Says:

Jul 17, 2008 - This IS Anonymous... The Cult of Scientology did the video claiming terrorist attacks against ITSELF.
