I APOLOGIZE, apparently my friend has informed me that Obama does want to close Guantanamo Bay. Whether he'll do it or not, only time can tell. I doubt it.

May 19, 2008 - iam NOT suprised, we all know thats hes not goign to do that because HE CANT if he would he wasn't president, people must know THE CORE of the problem and that is that the Banking system(the elite) that fund everything and have controle over whats comes in and out everywhere, what comes on tv how much you pay for oil they even pre-select your president

theCommenteer Says:

May 19, 2008 - Science doesn't help elect the right president, but it helps you understand how the world works by training the mind to think well. You don't prove a theory, for example, by just saying that metal dripping out a window must have been melted by thermite. Somebody with scientific training knows there are multiple possibilities. Just one example, but all their stuff is thermite. It is exactly like saying Clinton murdered Ron Brown or Vince Foster, or that a god pulls the sun across the sky.

May 19, 2008 - Yeah! Another foreigner for Paul!

ArchieAA Says:

May 19, 2008 - I would rather see Dennis Kucinich or Mike Gravel over Paul, however I recognize that Paul is not compromised by the corporate/military industrial complex and also has a strong grasp on economics with ideas for real solutions. He also has a logical level headed foreign policy. I do not agree with Paul on certain other issues (mostly social) but given the choice between Obama or Paul I would vote Paul in a heart beat.

theCommenteer Says:

May 19, 2008 - Paul understands some economics, but his solutions would precipitate the disaster he warns against. And, if you think his economic solutions are sound, yet would prefer Kucinich or Gravel, then you have a serious consistency problem. You can't separate the "social" from the economic. Of course, Kucinich and Gravel have similar consistency problems. Paul IS consistent, though. He would reduce the government to a pile of rubble and be pleased as puch with that result.

theCommenteer Says:

May 19, 2008 - "Pleased as PUNCH!"

ArchieAA Says:

May 19, 2008 - Pleased as punch? Your being ridiculous, a shining example of the media's stranglehold on the populace. His solutions would precipitate the disaster he warns against? What part of getting rid of the federal reserve allowing the free market to determine interest rates and money supply or cutting bloated and ineffective social programs makes you come to this conclusion? explain yourself. If you actually believe Paul would reduce the government to a pile of rubble, they've got you.

ArchieAA Says:

May 19, 2008 - welcome to the status quo.

jremy7 Says:

May 19, 2008 - It should have been the title of your video: "Puppet in a Suit" I like that.

theCommenteer Says:

May 19, 2008 - I had in mind his return to the gold standard. There is simply no way to do that without the dollar becoming worthless or all the gold going overseas AND the dollar becoming worthless. We only went off the gold standard because we were being out-competed by countries without environmental regulations, and worker protections, and safety regulations, and reasonable wages, and enforced building codes and all the other expensive stuff that makes life nice. Ron Paul would make us honestly poor.

theCommenteer Says:

May 19, 2008 - And you can go on to say that it is maintaining our "empire" which makes us uncompetetive, and I can go on to say that keeping order in the world is necessary for economic activity, and nobody really cares. Debate in this forum is meaningless. Never mind. Go destroy your world. I don't care.

bronxmini Says:

May 19, 2008 - obama is talking about bush and mccain fear mongering the voting public in the US, causing them to make decisions based on false security. this is separate from the US causing fear and terror in other nations by building a new prison in afghanistan which theoretically would protect US citizens. why are you uniting these "forms of terror" as though they're the same? they're not. moreover...

bronxmini Says:

May 19, 2008 - obama is not running as the liberal or progressive candidate, and he has claimed that he is serious about combating the terrorists who are a threat to the US. he is NOT anti-war. as a pacifist, of course you're not voting for obama and i'd argue that whoever you are voting for will NEVER see the oval office because the general public has not progressed ethically toward pacifism yet. nor has the rest of the world, so your preferred candidate would be bad for this country's safety anyway.

kyaume21 Says:

May 20, 2008 - You don't want Obama to become suicidal, do you? You know well that the moment he reveals all his intentions like, the assassination squads will be out for him. Give him a chance, please; what are the alternatives? Remember, the case of Juan Carlos of Spain, anointed by Franco: JC did not reveal his intentions to restore democracy before Franco died, otherwise he would have been replaced. He wisely waited until the bugger was well dead, and then did it; and he defended deomcracy to the hilt.

Keszler Says:

May 20, 2008 - when Obama spoke in Watertown he talked about closing Gitmo and talked about illegal wire taps

AOEGuy Says:

May 20, 2008 - Comon do you seriously think with his continuous rhetoric he will make positive change? He just says Change Change Change Change Change. Thats great! But a little lukewarm if you ask me. THAT can be proved.

theCommenteer Says:

May 20, 2008 - O, yes. If anybody "knows" that, Robert should!

theCommenteer Says:

May 20, 2008 - Since he's a puppet in a suit, then the CFR/NWO must want it closed. I wonder what they're up to...

Keszler Says:

May 20, 2008 - dont get me started with the nwo

GlobeBar Says:

May 21, 2008 - Mr. Antirelusionist: GITMO must close. It is against all the priniples of freedom that our nation was founded on. In the last 7 years we have sold our national soul to corporate greed and oil interests. It is time we stand up and tak eour country back! Vote Obama! Cordially, GlobeBar

JW6639 Says:

May 30, 2008 - council on foreign relations controls this country whether we like it or not. voting? an illusion. the middle class? endangered. it's time. for a revolution.

natemeans5101 Says:

Jul 4, 2008 - MY OPINION ON ALL THIS... im sure you have all did your research and are all well aware of the things going on behind closed doors, judging obama by who he was before he entered the race for president leads me to believe this... If he is indeed one of "us" then we should kno he has to play the game and say whatever he needs to say to the american people to get to the position of power where he can start to make a difference... however, we wont kno for sure until he gets there...

natemeans5101 Says:

Jul 4, 2008 - IF he gets there... wats 1 more rigged election under the long shit list of unconstitutional shit these fuckers have been up to for the last 60 years.. Obama might be our last hope or he might be just another pawn, we wont kno till elections are over i suppose...

AntiRelusionist Says:

Jul 6, 2008 - That's the sort of ignorant comment the people in control feed on.

wolfgar45 Says:

Aug 6, 2008 - obama just says stuff that people keep whining about. sort of like a movie company trying to creat a mainstream film.
