To the story...} RECAP: Nick just poned Sandy... ***Lindsey*** (While the Nick/Sandy moment is happening) Lindsey: {I need to apologize to Giselle. Yeah she pissed me off, but I did do it to her first. Then Nick. Ugh that...that...jackass! He's still a fucking pig. I had every right to throw that boiling water on him. But, he looked like it REALLY hurt. Maybe that was a little harsh. No, no it wasn't. Well, he was really red and achy. Aww man, I have to apologize, don't I? He probably won't even talk to me. (Sighs) I'll just walk in, unannounced, and say it. That way he HAS to listen.} (She gets off of her bed and walks to Nick's closed door) {AN: Sandy has already left} Lindsey: (Deep breath) Here goes. (Walks in) Nick- (Eyes wide and mouth open) Uh... (Nick had come out of the bathroom but his towel fell. So, he's standing in front of Lindsey completely naked) Nick: (Shocked) Uh...uh...uh... Lindsey: (Can't help but look "there") Oh....my....God. (Covers her eyes and panics) I'm sorry! I should have knocked, but I didn't and now...oh God! (Bumps into everything trying to leave with her eyes covered) Nick: (Snaps out of it and re-wraps the towel) It's okay. Lindsey, calm down! (Sits her on the bed) You can stop covering your eyes you know. Lindsey: (Peeks between her fingers) Really? (Puts her hands down) Oh. Nick: (Laughs and sits next to her) You okay? Lindsey: No I'm not okay. I just saw your p...your pe...well, you know. Nick: (Chuckles) Yeah I know. Chill, it won't bite you. (Shrugs) It just goes inside your- Lindsey: (Loud enough to drown him out) AND this is when I leave and tune you out. (Gets up) Nick: (Laughing) Okay, okay! I'll stop. (Pulls her back down) So what did you come in here for? Lindsey: Oh yeah! I, uh, just wanted to...uh...you know...apologize. Don't get me wrong, you did cross the line with that last comment, but the whole boiling water thing was a bit much. Nick: (Sarcastic) You think? Lindsey: I'm really sorry. We don't have to like each other, but can we at least make the rest of this little vacation okay between us? Nick: That's fine. No problem. Lindsey: (Smiles) I seriously thought that was going to be harder. (Stands up) Well, uh...goodnight. (Starts for the door) Nick: (Stands up) Wait a second. Lindsey: (Turns around) Yeah? Nick: (Walks up to her and hugs her) I just wanted a goodnight hug. Lindsey: (Smiles) Oh. (Giggles) Here you go then. (Hugs back) Nick: {Mmm. She still uses that vanilla honey shampoo. I've always loved it. Oh, maybe I should let go now} (Starts to pull away) Lindsey: {His chest is so toned! Aww he still wears Axe. The one with the green on the can. Whoa, why do I remember that? Oh, he's letting go.} (Lets go and smiles) Nick: Thank you. Lindsey: Goodnight. Nick: (Smiles) Goodnight) (Before Lindsey leaves, a shadow rushes past the doorway. Nick barely sees it, but sees it nonetheless. He disregards it and watches Lindsey leave before dressing and going to bed) ~~WHOA! How do you like it so far? I know it's moving kind of slow, but I promise the drama coming is SO worth the pace. I'd rather you understand what I'm trying to get across. What's with the shadow?~~
