May 20, 2008 - I grew up with heavy metal but have diversified to the point where there are few genres of music I won't listen to. Tchaikovsky's symphonies have the most calming affect on me but I like something like ACDC or Rush to give me a boost. If I have a favorite type of music it would probably be something Russian.

May 21, 2008 - I like the Planets as well. On the first moon mission they played that in the Apollo capsule. I also really appreciate musical talent even if I don't like the music type. Some earlier heavy metal bands(Led Zeppelin for example) actually had musical talent. Even though I like some of it, later HM bands tend to be organized noise.
