Jun 4, 2008 - USA did nothing. The Finnish opening is the same as all the European openings. And the original version is performed by Pierre Kartner (who composed the European opening and ending songs). Benny Törnroos performing just the Finnish and Swedish versions. In USA, the only country had Moomin on TV was Hawaii, titled "The Tales of Moominvalley".

She didn't liked the '69 or maybe even the '72 TV series, but she DID like the '90 TV series, and it was said by in a documentary which I told you before. I'm a hobby fan of Moomin myself. Don't believe me if you wish. If you dislike this series, don't put Jansson herself to it, cuz she has nothing to do with your negative feelings about it. SHE DID LIKE IT, period.

She may didn't like the '72 series too, maybe. But it was never said on the '90 series. Believe it or not. I have no interest to go around and lie, I am a fan. In the documentary- "Mumins Memoarer" it was said by Dennis Livson, the executive producer of the '90 series, that she DID like the series. Apologize :)

But it was long time ago... I guess they don't broadcast the same documentary often, now. Anyway, I'm also researching after Tove Jansson and Moomin. Never would say it if I don't sure of it. My friend also a fan of them, so... I don't think he would lie about it :) Hope you would see it someday :)
