May 24, 2008 - 12 hours, that's dedication! I just bought an external hard drive so I could put clips on youtube. This is the North and South that I vaugely remember, with Patrick Swayze. Most of my friends put clips up of the BBC one.

May 25, 2008 - More like stupidity!! My hard drive crashed on Thursday!!! When it's fixed I will buy a tetrabig external hard drive & follow your example. I just love the BBC one (which beats this hands down!), but my little sister lent me the DVDs of this old favourite - we watched it as kids many many times - I felt I owed her one trip down memory lane.
