Jun 25, 2008 - When they stopped for lunch at the Old Barn we got to meet them. Dave was charming and Denny was especially friendly! We were having a "wild weekend" and were thrilled to be young, goofy and entranced by their music!

Jun 25, 2008 - When the DC5 toured the US to promote their movie "Catch Us If You Can", our very cool Aunt Ruth readily agreed to do just that! We kids all piled in her car to see the DC5 at a movie theatre in Oak Lawn, Illinois. After that, we chased the DC5 on their bus down the highway. They good-naturedly waved at us EVERY time our car pulled up next to the bus!

Jul 21, 2008 - You're one of the lucky ones, getting to be around when all this was happening, and meeting the band face-to-face. I was born seventeen years after the British Invasion, and all I have are secondhand memories. At least we can still hear the music and see the film clips.
terriok1 Says:
Jul 21, 2008 - You are SO right. I am lucky. And how lucky you are to appreciate their music and recognize it for being as great as it is. We all still have that. I NEVER did get to see the BeaTles though- THE one thing I wanted to do... I saw Ringo last week. He was TeRRiFic! He is still rockin' at the age of 68. If you get a chance- go see him on this tour or the next!
