Apr 3, 2008 - I dedicated my first book ("Das literarische Chanson in Deutschland") to her and met her repeatedly in Hollywood (around 1965), where she lived out her emigrant years. Even as an old lady she was still utterly charming. Wolf/Kyoto

Apr 7, 2008 - Bruno Walter adored her. What interpretation is concerned the greatest singer of the 20th century and I know them all. Of course she sang often second rate music but made masterworks of it. Sad end.
