This one's a little more different than my previous videos so far since it's both a narrative directed by me without my brother Steve, whereas the Maxx Magnum series is directed by Steve and co-directed by me, and the humor is much more concrete and less absurd. Also, this was edited in Final Cut Pro on a Mac, whereas everything else has been edited in Vegas on a PC. I prefer the latter, but this was for school. This was done as a final for an editing class. I shot this last-minute since the current assignment required me to edit a crappy short film about a janitor. I had the option to get original footage, but I only had thirty minutes to attain footage. I met the actors/improvisers, they brainstormed the idea, and we shot the whole thing in about twenty minutes before class. The following was all done in three long, continuous takes. I am thinking about redoing the audio a bit later. For now, assuming you have a sound card that comes with sound equalizing software, turn up the bass to fix the strange audio. On the first paper, since you can't read it on YouTube, is a shopping list. Other items include weapons, underwear, Battlestar Galactica Season 5, and other strange things. The word "dude" is said 8 times. "Man" is said 4 times.
