May 10, 2008 - Yeah, you usually ARE upbeat. I'm so sorry that your husband didn't get that job he wanted to get. I know what it's like to be around kids. My brother even tells me his hardships with kids. It's good you're thinking like this, but even if you don't get that job you want, always understand you got a big heart for wanting to venture to seek a job. Your subscribers are here for you no matter what. Take care. ROMEDAWG

May 10, 2008 - Hey I got the three bars today thank you. The only one I have eaten is the livin' la vida low carb bar. It tastes good but I probably wouldn't buy it. They are the shape of those candy bars little kids sell for fund raising lol!! I am kind of in the same place you are. My best friend whom I live with can pay the bills but we can't get anything nice on top of that. We need disposable income! It would make our lives alot better just to have a little extra money.

May 10, 2008 - You KNOW I know what you're talking about. I live on 1 income with no kids or dependents and it's hella hard in MA. Have you ever tried Craigslist for jobs? That's where I got my tech support job - totally rocks, and lots of good leads there! Good luck!

May 10, 2008 - Hee-hee. Well, then.

May 10, 2008 - "golden handcuffs," LOL... that's a phrase that put visions in my head. The one thing I do have going me - - - I have nothing invested in any field!

May 10, 2008 - Eghhhk! Do NOT work at Starbucks! I worked there for 2 years and then went back and worked for 5 years as a supervisor and the ONLY good thing is if you're going to school b/c they're flexible. The benefits are good but the pay is ridiculous.
meltingmamamelted Says:
May 11, 2008 - I couldn't afford to, not if I had to consider using child-care. There's no way. If I were to do it as "fun," for pocket change, sure. I would love it. Otherwise, I couldn't.
