during the top 5 american idol performance where each of the remaining contestants were made to sing 2 songs the judges were made to give out their comments after all the 5 contestants sang their first songs (just before their second songs). in this part of the show, paula abdul already had comments for jason castro's 2 songs (no one has sung his/her second song yet). simon cowell's facial expression was that of surprise and "OMG! we're busted" look and both he and randy immediately diverted the attention (with the help of ryan seacrest). here are the possible reasons for that fiasco: 1. paula abdul was just drunk and/or high and/or disoriented again! 2. the judges make their notes during the rehearsals and read them during the televised show (which explains why they sometimes talk during a contestant's performance) 3. the show really is rigged/fixed as evidenced by sudden voting off of some of the talented contestants in favor for the not-so-good but attractive ones! you decide.

May 21, 2008 - How many times has Simon said on talk shows that he does not pay attention to the live shows because he hears them in rehearsals? MANY TIMES! People did not make a BIG STINK out of it then did they? NO! It does not matter anyway because AMERICA IS VOTING PEOPLE. The judges comments do not matter at this point. They are just giving their opinion & if you choose to base your vote on their opinion, than thats your problem.

May 28, 2008 - i was going to say that maybe she just accidentally read off of david's opinions of what she wrote down, but that can't be write b/c she said that jason's supposed "2nd performance" was not that good...but then when she quickly corrected herself she nervously said "david cook, fantastic" therefore she cudn't hav been reading off of cook's comments otherwise she wud've said that jason's "2nd song" was fantastic...do u really think she prewrote opinions of what they saw in rehearsal?
