May 17, 2008 - score in tenor key?

CzarDodon Says:

May 17, 2008 - Yes, bravo for noticing! though some other 'nice' comment would have made you sound less pedantic! especially since you have uploaded nothing yourself to date. It's the only score I have, and it took well over an hour of scanning cutting and pasting fitting in to the music and adding the subtitles. I know I can do it better.... but is it worth while? Did it give you any pleasure or insight?

CzarDodon Says:

May 17, 2008 - Actually it's the Dover edition, it doesn't specify any voice register, so I guess it is the original key.

May 17, 2008 - oh dear, my intention was not to sound pedantic. it's a lovely video, which is why I watched and listened to it with great pleasure. I just wanted to avoid possible confusion. Thank you, especially for your artistic translation (as opposed to pedantic :p).

May 17, 2008 - Sorry, I'm a bit cranky in the morning. I'm sure it wasn't your intention. I've done a better job with Wolf's Abschied. The translation is a mixture of two different versions.
