YOU LAZY BUMS WHO AREN'T READING THIS WOULD UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING PLOT BETTER IF YOU DID. Also, this video is not finished. I'll probably be in my eighties by the time I DO finish it, so I thought I'd upload what I had thus far. Don't worry, I'm still giving you a proper explanation all in due time. Featuring (quite obviously, if I do say so myself): James Norrington as Inspector Javert, of Les Misérables, from Pirates of the Caribbean. Elizabeth Bennet as Belle, of Beauty and the Beast, from the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice. For more information on the actual actor and actress, please look it up on Wiki or IMDB. Anyway, this entire thing is serving, I hope, as a sort of trailer/brought to life rendition of a fanfiction I plan on putting up very soon. The title will be identical. I'm sure most of you here know the story of Beauty and the Beast, which is fortunate. After watching Pride and Prejudice so many times (MARRY ME, MR. DARCY!), it struck in me the similarities between the two bookworms-for-girls. While most of you also probably know Pirates all too well, I urge you to find out more about Les Mis if you haven't yet explored into its wondrous depths. I have a playlist of the entire Tenth Aniversary concert, for anyone unfamiliar to the music. Finally. xD Here's somewhat of an explanation as to what's going on in the video itself... Javert: Rough, older, calloused. An inspector with the strongest duty of the law and the highest sense of honor for what is right, and what is virtuous--of course, it's all gone wrong now, with his attempted suicide in the midst of his confusion of the actions of Jean Valjean. Now it seems he's been denied even the right to take his own life, the River Seine relinquishing death in place of deporting him off to a particularly strange castle, and the one inhabitant of it. She's enchanting (in almost a literal sense of the word), but there are a few minor differences of temper... Belle: Beautiful, intelligent, hopeful. She represents what hope the man she finds has lost, even as she is forced against her will into staying in the dark castle with her Beast; consequentally, she keeps this Beast a complete secret from Inspector Javert, referring to him only as the "Master of the Castle". Her books are one part of her world, the castle she has come to both fear and feel curious about is the other half. Javert is in between the two as the mystery for whom she fears. Why would someone want to take their own life? She watches him. In turn, he provides her with the most stimulating arguments she's had for months. I hope you all enjoy.
