About the only downside to owning this antenna is that one does have to change the clip on the inductor coil each time you change a band. But hey, what do you expect from a $100 verticle? So far, I have been very impressed at how well it does work.

This video shows the spark gap for the primary coil on a Tesla coil. The coil is drivin useing a PWM circuit consuming 25 volts @ .5 amps. The PWM is connected to a high voltage capacitor in paralled with the spark gap.
